Christian's weekend

We arrives at the airport nervously, but then we found ourselves excited to be able to explore the city of Dublin and meet new people. After our flight, where my classmates and I were able to play various game and talk, we arrived at our destination. From the second I met my host, I lost all nervousness and was met with great welcomes. That afternoon, I was able to explore Dublin and experience a new life.  We looked at the town, did some shopping, and met new people. I now am preparing for the rest of my stay.

Marvelous Monday

         Going to the Wicklow Mountains was an amazing experience. The view was incredible. Even though we were not at the top, you could see so much of the mountain and fully experience its beauty. We learned so much about the history of the mountains as well as the type of land that is at the bottom of the mountains. We were able to see the areas where mining took place as well as the areas untouched which were full of trees. Unfortunately, we did not walk up them because it was very windy, but it was still an unbelievable experience overall, and I would love to revisit it someday.                                                                                                     River at the base of the m...

Matt's weekend

Friday night, April 6th, we traveled through non-ideal weather and too much traffic, but we finally arrived at Logan Airport. After only one forgotten passport, the group was ready, and we checked our bags. There were many group pictures and goodbyes from parents as we moved on to security. After some of the bags were checked, including mine because I forgot  that I had a bottle of sunscreen from 7th grade in there, and a few pat downs, we continued on to our terminal. Students dispersed for food and waited in long lines to get snacks and drinks for the long plane ride ahead. We boarded the plane, and everyone tried to  trade seats last minute for an aisle or window seat. The flight was filled with sleep, movie watching, talking with friends, and eating the dinner and breakfast they served.
